Originally by: Dacryphile Title says it all. The ship is imbalanced. Fun as it is to fly right now, its imbalanced.
So, what will CCP do to it?
Assumptions make me sick.
CCP isn't going to touch the ship.

You're all a bunch of carebears.
The one side of you whine in favor of keeping the Dramiel the way it is because you're allergic to losing ships in PVP.
The other side of you whine against keeping the Dramiel the way it is because you suck at PVP.
Grow some balls, all of you.
Also, what makes you think CCP is even thinking of nerfing the Dramiel? This thread is full of so much assumption it makes my eyes hurt. Also, my Cruor has soloed over 5 Dramiels now and I don't see a problem with the friggin' ship. Any fit from any distance is getting annihilated by my frig, and I imagine by other frigates and stuff too.
The Dramiel is a glorified tackler. Nothing more nothing less.

The latest discourse in this thread (last half of page 6) has me wondering why you guys are getting just so bent out of shape over this.
Just because a ship is really good doesn't mean it's overpowered. Clearly, the ship is a sturdy frigate with good damage potential. However, there are other ships I am aware of (MSE Blarpy, Plate Taranis, a Rifter, even my Cruor) which are all solid ships for varying reasons.
Why would you fly a Dramiel over these? Because you like the Dramiel, not necessarily because it's 'the best ship for the job.' It's a fun ship to fly, but it has its fallacies. Despite 3 light drones, the ship has subpar DPS at any range except extremely close up and personal. Because of that, the ship must rely on outlasting its opponent in a fight, and it puts itself at risk. Fittings aside (because everyone can fit any ship in any fashion,) the ship is an expensive toy that has good bonuses, just like any other faction frigate.
The Dramiel has not obsoleted other ships, nor do I think CCP is targeting it for a nerf. Why do I say this? Because I have common sense, and common sense tells me that people are angry over the Dramiel because it appears to be too good. Ask anyone I know and they'll tell you instead of fearing the ship I am delighted to hear that somebody is flying it because it'll result in me adding another Dramiel killmail to my killboard. The ship is balanced in harmony with other ships in the game. There are always going to be counters to ships, and you must take into consideration that this is an MMO and not a battleground for just 1v1 fights.

Merdaneth, most of your post doesn't really wash with the common Eve player. You have a CHOICE in Eve, and that is to fly a ship that you select.
The Dramiel is good. It's not the only frigate out there that can kill or tackle though.

Letifer Deus, you said the Cruor and Worm needed a buff in your opinion.
How do you think the Cruor needs a buff?
